Samutsongkram is a small province not far from Bangkok that has many attractions to visit. One place that is just as interesting to see as all the others is the Baan Bang Plub, where fun activities for children await. One of the best things about Baan Bang Plub is that we use the resources from the community as learning tools for children to be very “hands on” with activities that are not only fun, but also educational. For instance, how to pick grapefruits and use them as cooking ingredients, and how to make salted eggs using our special recipe. Children can run around our coconut plantation, observe how we process coconuts and make tasty coconut-palm sugar droplets. Moreover, children will enjoy how to fly kites and amuse themselves with old-school games that are rarely played today. This is definitely a community that children will enjoy spending time – and not make them miss being at home.

Directions to the community
Traveling to Baan Bang Plub is not hard. Use the Rama 2 Road (Thonburi-Paktor), then follow the Samutsongkram road towards to King Rama II Memorial Park, and Baan Bang Plub is 3 km away from the national park, on the right side of the intersection.
