Baan Tha Khan Tong Homestay is a small community along the side of the Khong River in Amphur Chiang San, Chiang Rai province. This place is fascinating because it is where many people from the northeast of Thailand moved over to the northern region, which means that visiting children will get to experience two distinct cultures. Our community offers activities such as farming and gardening, where children get to relax in the beautiful countryside and also closely observe the lives of the farmers. We have rubber plantations for tapping, cornfields, a sacha inchi farm, and a mulberry farm. We also have nice, green rice paddies where the children can become tiny farmers for the day and run around freely, or play in the mud pond and go down our famous mudslide. With all this, Baan Tha Khan Tong Homestay is just as exciting as any other community.
